Training & Certification
CCE, through its own staff, outside consultants and future partnerships with Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach County Community College, is creating The CCE Artist Certification Program.
This program will offer Palm Beach County Artists the opportunity to hone their instructional, organizational and managerial skills to complement their outstanding artistic abilities. Based on proven instructional techniques, artists will have workshops in such topics as:
- Multiple Intelligences
- Classroom Management
- Time Management and Planning
- Florida State Standards
- Grade Level Expectations
- FCAT Preparation
- Children with Special Needs
- Temperament and Teaching,
- Curriculum Mapping
- School Law Issues
- Planning Effective Projects
Time for new artists to observe CCE Certified artists as well as mentoring by CCE Certified artists is a very strong and ongoing part of the certification process. Ongoing observation by CCE staff as well as formal and informal supervision allows for continued growth of both the artist and the quality of the certification process.
