CCE Teaching Artist
Our professional artists build meaningful relationships with each student, helping them see a broader palette of life choices. They challenge them to express their academic knowledge through group and individual projects, creating connections between classroom learning and real-life application of that knowledge.
The key to successful arts integration lies in the understanding between the classroom teacher and the CCE Teaching Artist who works with that teacher's students. Art integration applies specific
arts-related activities to teaching practices that support curriculum
objectives. Each CCE Teaching Artist brings his/her own background,
knowledge and experience to foster a collaborative working
process
with the teacher.
